Biography

Caroline Wilson is a full-time faculty member of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Saint Xavier University. Wilson began her time at SXU in 2012, spending three years as adjunct faculty before moving to a part-time position in 2015 and assuming a full-time role one year later. She teaches in both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. She has served as the Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Program and is currently the FNP Track Coordinator.

Wilson received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing from Indiana University. She has been an FNP since 1999, having spent time working in various settings but remaining particularly passionate about the older adult population. Over the past five or so years, Wilson became passionate about palliative care, revolving her dissertation around the topic and completing her doctoral program at DePaul University in 2018.

Wilson enjoys teaching all levels of nursing students and integrating clinical examples into the classroom to bring nursing concepts to life.
