Biography
Josh Bogaski-Baugh holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a Master of Science in education. In addition, he is currently working on his doctorate in leadership, equity, and inquiry at Illinois State University, where his doctoral research is focused upon sense of belonging in LGBTQIA+ students at Catholic colleges and universities across the United States.
He has over 12 years of experience across a variety of functional areas of higher education with focused attention in student success, academic advising, career development, and leadership identity development. In his role at Saint Xavier University, Bogaski-Baugh serves as the executive director of advising and career readiness, where he provides strategic direction to University advising initiatives, career readiness initiatives, and global engagement. Bogaski-Baugh is an active member of both NACE and NACADA. He enjoys leveraging best practices and identifying strategies to enhance programming and services for students.
In addition to these responsibilities, he also manages the developmental components of the student employment program, oversees the Safe Zone Ally Training program, and serves as both a Title IX investigator and student conduct board officer.
In his spare time, Bogaski-Baugh is a fan of pro-wrestling, enjoys trying new crafts, going to concerts, and traveling.
